Chairman Message

The dedicated community volunteers founded Masoom Welfare Organization in May 2004. We apprehended with the needs of oppressed orphan children affected by the natural & man-made disasters. With the help of Almighty Allah, we established a residential center for poor and abandoned orphan children without the government support. Our primary manifesto is to keeping children safe from exploitations. This Non-Profit organization represented the quality of child protection work under the UN convention of child rights 1989. In a very short period of time, MWOK was able to mobilize a strong community network of volunteer members on children’s rights and conflict resolutions. We start working on developing a thorough alternative care and safeguarding frameworks and have also begun developing a comprehensive plan for other community organizations covering issues affecting children by the disasters. We are grateful and very privileged to have been able to work with such a great team here in Pakistan. We would particularly thanksto volunteers and donors who have all contributed in a very dedicated manner, on a pro-bono basis, to our development since 2004. We look forward to continuing our work in promoting the rights of poor orphan children. Even in very challenging times, we are impatient to see them as well educated and successful people of the society.
